Galaxy Spins App

I opened Galaxy Spins on a three-year-old Android phone with 14GB of storage free, expecting a 200MB download and a store listing. I found neither.

The Galaxy Spins app is a web app. You add it to your home screen from your browser, and it opens full screen with its own icon. I tested it in Chrome on Android and Safari on an iPhone 13, and the steps differ by one tap.

Galaxy Spins App Download and Installation

I searched the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store for a Galaxy Spins app download and found nothing official. The operator built a browser-based version instead of a native one. That removes the 200MB installer, the storage warnings, and the wait for store approval before a bug fix goes live.

Install it in four steps:

  1. Open the Galaxy Spins site in Chrome or Safari on your phone. You do not need an account yet.
  2. Tap the browser menu. Chrome shows three stacked dots in the top corner, and Safari uses the share icon at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Choose "Add to Home Screen" or "Install app", depending on your browser.
  4. Confirm the name and tap Add. Your phone places the icon on your home screen within a few seconds.

My install took about 20 seconds on 4G. The Galaxy Spins casino app opens without an address bar, so it looks like any other app on your phone, and it takes up a few megabytes of cache instead of a few hundred. You pay for data while you play, the same as on the mobile site, and nothing for a download.

Updates load the next time you open the app. You will see no update prompts, and you cannot fall behind on versions.

Using the Galaxy Spins Mobile Casino

The first launch drops you in the lobby, sorted into rows: Popular, New, Live Casino, Megaways, Bonus Buys and Instant Wins. Tap any tile to open the game. Without an account you get demo mode, and real-money play needs a login.

Found a slot you like? Tap the heart icon on its tile and Galaxy Spins adds it to a Favourites row at the top of your lobby. After a week I had eleven hearted titles and stopped using search for my regular games.

The bottom navigation bar holds Casino, Live, Promotions and Menu. Tap Menu to reach the loyalty scheme, the VIP club, the cashier and your account settings.

Galaxy Spins Mobile Casino Interface

The background runs dark navy with violet highlights, and the buttons are big enough for a thumb on a 6-inch screen. I played for an hour in bed with the brightness low and had no glare problems.

The search button in the top bar opens a filter panel. You can narrow results by category and by provider, and I counted more than 30 studios in the list. I typed "Book of" and got 14 results.

The app mirrors the mobile website screen for screen. If you want push notifications or fingerprint login built into the app itself, you will not get them.

Registering in the Galaxy Spins App

Registration took me about three minutes. Browse the demo lobby first if you want a look around, then follow these steps:

  1. Tap the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Enter your email, a password and a promo code if you have one. Tick the box confirming you are 18 or over, and accept the terms and conditions and privacy policy.
  3. Add your name, date of birth, UK address and phone number.
  4. Save your details. The cashier unlocks and you can make your first deposit.

Galaxy Spins asks for photo ID and proof of address before your first withdrawal. Upload them after signing up to avoid a delay on your first cash-out.

Depositing from Your Phone

Open the cashier from the Menu button. The minimum deposit is £20, and you can pay with a Visa or Mastercard debit card. Galaxy Spins does not accept credit cards, in line with the UK ban. Card deposits post within seconds and carry no fee, so £20 in is £20 to play with. Withdrawals back to your card take up to three working days, which is slower than I wanted.

Galaxy Spins Welcome Bonus on Mobile

New UK customers can claim up to £500 plus 200 free spins. Galaxy Spins splits the package across your first three deposits:

  • First deposit: 100% up to £200 plus 100 free spins.
  • Second deposit: 50% up to £150 plus 50 free spins.
  • Third deposit: 75% up to £150 plus 50 free spins.

Tick the bonus box in the cashier before you pay, because Galaxy Spins does not add the bonus to a deposit afterwards. You have seven days to use the free spins from each tier.

The bonus carries 35x wagering, so a £20 bonus means you wager £700 before you withdraw. I claimed the first tier with a £50 deposit, which put £1,750 of wagering on the £50 bonus. I cleared £900 of it before my balance ran out.

Security of the Galaxy Spins App

Galaxy Spins protects your connection with 128-bit encryption. I checked the certificate in Chrome before installing and saw Google Trust Services listed as the issuer.

The app has no passcode of its own, so your phone's lock screen protects your account if someone picks up your handset. Set a PIN, or turn on Face ID or fingerprint unlock, and log out on any shared device.
